ReReadingMemories
A flame can't start without a spark.
Tristan is the school's hockey star: disciplined, intense, and known for his sharp temper on the ice and his quiet distance off. Everyone sees the athlete, the golden boy with a future already planned out, but no one looks close enough to notice the weight he carries or the way he avoids getting too close to anyone.
Brooks, on the other hand, is the heart of the soccer team; charismatic, hardworking, and effortless. He blends confidence with warmth. While he seems to fit perfectly into the school's image, he's still trying to figure out who he is.
When the two are assigned as roommates, neither expects much more than awkward coexistence. But sharing a small dorm room means shared mornings, late-night conversations, and stolen glances that linger just a second too long. As rivalry, pressure, and expectations close in around them, Tristan and Brooks begin to realize that the person who understands them most might be the one sleeping just a few feet away.
