But she finds herself unable to realize this because she is so taken up by the fact that Elphaba isn't just swimming around, but that she has chosen to swim entirely naked.

Elphaba runs into Galinda while going out for coffee. Then she runs into Galinda while getting some fast food. Then when she goes out for pizza. Seriously Galinda? Could you be any less subtle about your infatuation? Though Elphaba isn't very romantic either, since accidently spitting coffee on the girl crushing on you is never in any romance-advice book they sell.

One night, Elphaba receives the strangest of visitors in the strangest of ways. It is a young woman who clambers across the roof of their apartment in order to come through the window. Following that first meeting, these rooftop visits become totally normal and Elphaba strikes up a friendship, and then something more, with the mysterious young visitor.

For some reason, Galinda was never ever afraid of Elphaba. Even back when they hated each other, Galinda was the only person to never ever flinch away from Elphaba. It was one of the first things Elphaba ever noticed about her, and one of the most interesting. But why? Why was Galinda never scared of her?

Glinda isn't even sure which one of them makes the first move, but in less than a second, their lips are pressed together. The moment so soft and slow Glinda briefly considers that this may be a hallucinations of some sort. That her brain is exercising some sick torture on her... Then Elphie's hands are on her waist again and there's a breathy whisper against her lips, "Hold out as long as you can." Glinda barely has a chance to nod as Elphie's head tilts slightly and, lips still so tantalizingly close to Glinda's, adds, "Hold out, My Sweet..." before closing the gap once again. ---------- Glinda Arduenna of the Uplands is no stranger to just how cruel reality can be. Elphaba and Glinda were at it again... And the Shiz students loved it! Nothing entertained them more than watching two hot witches going at it. Countless bets were placed and nobody was worried about the fun ever ending because, either way, it seemed that it would last their whole lives long.

Elphaba wasn't quite sure when she had started to fall for Galinda, she only knew that she had, and it was a love that was growing stronger and stronger every day. But Galinda, dear, sweet Galinda, was blind to it all, and Elphaba was far too afraid to ever bring it up.

Glinda was drowning in it. The weight of everyone's cheers as they held a feast to celebrate Elphaba's death was too much. Until she caught wind of a green girl on the outskirts of Oz. Hope.
