Nathan Valentino is so, so tired. He's only twenty-eight, but his world isn't the way it's supposed to be. Sure, there are some parts that are normal. The bilingual banter with his younger sister, Bella, and his studies are always a sense of familiarity. That's where his normal life ends. He's in serious debt to a powerful family: the Princetons. And of course when he had almost finished paying it off, it doubled. He now owes six hundred eighty thousand U.S. dollars ($680,000). Worst of all, the patriarch of the family, Lionel Princeton, has sent his daughter, Allison Princeton, to keep an eye on Nathan's progress. He now has a set deadline for his work. October twenty-eighth, next year. That gives him only eleven months to get over half a million dollars. But when Allison gets a room in Nathan's apartment, he finds himself spending more time with her than ever. He gets to know her outside of her usual calm, business-like facade. Maybe she isn't that bad after all. Nathan's so close to changing the world, and he doesn't even have his PhD yet. He doesn't know what he's missing, or why the Princetons need his work. He knows better than to ask. The Princetons aren't exactly the sharing type. The Valentino series is getting kicked off with a bang. Literally. Mafia families love their guns.

This is the year 3025 in the small town of Apalachicola, Florida and there is a new genetic mutation due to human adaptation to the climate change. The first case are young twins, a boy named Abel and a girl named Azra. When they were born no one really thought much of it until their home was on fire. They were in the house for 25 minutes inhaling the smoke perfectly fine. When the paramedics and the officers arrived the children were sent to the hospital.Dr. Asier tend to the children's burns, but when the doctor did a blood test he realized these children had a blood cell never seen before. They named it sunkratikos this cell allowed the children to inhale toxins and break it down naturally. After the fire the children lost their parents, Dr. Asier decided to adopt the children to conduct research on them. Two years into research she realized that there are more children like Abel and Azra, so she conducted a search for them. She adopted two more children named Aadvay and Aadvika, although she adopted these children she realized that some of the 3025 children were born with this mutation. A few things that seemed prominent with these children was the fact they either had Chédiak-Higashi syndrome, Hermansky-Pudlak syndrome (disorders of pigmentation) or Sectoral Heterochromia (part of one iris is a different color from its remainder). These children are the future and Dr.Asier knew that so she told her fellow coworkers, but they saw this as an opportunity to claim the new mutation as their own finding. They want the money, fame, and they do not care how they do it. Since they don't have the children the other doctors, and scientists have put a price on any child that has the features. this book is made by a fly... im the fly. made this cause some people said its a good read. so... hope u enjoy, there will be hiccups since this is my first time actually putting my stories out to read.

Inside the sterile concrete walls of the Apex Research Initiative, humanity attempts to domesticate the unimaginable. Outside lies the Wilds-a continent-spanning, hyper-mutated jungle of toxic spores, predatory flora, and massive, bio-electric beasts. Dr. Sarah Mercer knows the facility's genetic experiments are a grotesque mistake. But when her attempt to sabotage their progress goes catastrophically wrong, Sarah makes a desperate, split-second choice: she injects herself with a cocktail of the facility's most volatile, stolen predator serums. Transformed into a massive jaguar bristling with obsidian feathers, Sarah escapes into the deep green. But the transformation shatters her mind, leaving her a predator clinging to a fading, fragile instinct that she was once someone else. As Apex deploys its most ruthless automated hunters, Sarah must navigate a hyper-mutated ecosystem where the line between humanity and monstrosity is constantly blurred. And when a ghost from her past risks everything to track her into the abyss, survival will depend on a bond that the jungle itself refuses to forget.

The year 2566 looks very promising. Adapted and genetically modified humans are the success of the time. People no longer have illnesses, lives are prolonged up to 320 years, people do not age, every disease is eradicated, the quality of life is beyond what anyone had ever expected. But at what cost? Many of these people who are "abducted" or go "missing" are test subjects and lab rats for the imperative success of these genetic modifications. Uma is one of many, but some claim they are not missing at all, just hidden. Are Uma and the rest, really just hidden or is the Trans-Continental Laboratory of Higher Genetic Research and Engineering hiding more than they lead on? Picture copyright: Live Science™️️.
