After the mountain years have passed, and a deadly, suffocating curse now creeps toward Kaer Morhen. Desperate for aid, the Witchers travel to a hidden, isolated kingdom guarded by an ancient, impenetrable barrier. They expect an old, mysterious ruler. Instead, Geralt finds himself face-to-face with Julian-the man he once called Jaskier. Enjoy! You can also check out my other books, I would be honoured! On hold for now. To be honest, I've lost all drive to continue this story, but I'd gladly bring it back to life if I see that people are genuinely enjoying it. "Jaskier." Jaskier finally lifts his head, making eye contact. "What?" Geralt swallows, staring at Jaskier. "You don't have to do that." Jaskier frowns, visibly confused. He stares back. "Do what?" Geralt exhales. "Whatever you're doing right now." His face heats up, even though he's not sure why, and he doesn't like it. Jaskier blinks. "I'm not doing anything," he says. His fingers have stopped moving, and Geralt thinks that he genuinely isn't aware that he's even touching Geralt's hair. "You are," Geralt insists. "You're braiding my hair." His voice is colorless.

Geralt, Yen, and Ciri. The family bound by destiny, magic, and wishes. Whose good intentions pave the road to hell itself. What happens when lost opportunities reappear? Jaskier, making name and fame for himself alongside a disgraced knight errant when his path crosses that of a long lost flame.

POST-SEASON 1 THE WITCHER (TV, Netflix) After finally finding each other and accepting the call from Destiny, Ciri and Geralt travel together far away from the Nilfgaard soldiers who're looking for Ciri. They plan to spend the night at an inn, with such (bad) luck that they end up in the same tavern as the bard Jaskier, who until not long ago was a friend of Geralt's. Geralt is forced to face words he regrets saying, and Jaskier is forced to see the man he's fought so hard to forget. Will they find it in themselves to forgive? Can they bring back what they once had? Sort of fix-it fic because I couldn't bear the thought of Geralt and Jaskier still being angry at each other and separated; they need each other. It can be read as a ship or as deep friendship.

Jaskier decides to stay at Kaer Morhen after the fight with the basilisks that came through the portal. Jaskier had fallen head over heels for Geralt on day one. Then there was the Djin, the sorceress, and the fight on the mountain. It crushed Jaskier's heart. Geralt apologized, but it was a very...Geralt... apology. They were still friends of course, but Jaskier's heart ached. maybe he could help mend what was broken while at Kaer Morhen, or find away to repare himself.

Jaskier fainted, and Geralt picked him up like a sack of potatoes, put him on the horse, and made poor Roach run back to the nearest town. No, Geralt wasn't desperate to know if his bard was dying; he was just worried that the man who had been traveling with him was... Well, dying. Fuck, he was worried.

Modern!AU Julian Pankratz lives the same life as everyone else, completely normal. He has two jobs that keep him on his toes and friends that support him in every way possible. Everything is normal- Until he woke up from a dream that seemed too realistic to not be real. Monsters, contracts, and someone named Geralt started to invade his thoughts. It made him question reality, and even his own sanity. He went to multiple people, asking what to do about it, but they all said the same thing: the dreams he had every night were his past. But everything that occurred in them couldn't be real... could they? (Edited as of 9/10/2020)

They say that the quickest way to a man's heart is through his stomach. That's the truth, at least where Jaskier is concerned-just don't mess with his sausage rolls.

Geralt may be the strong silent type, but Jaskier knows even the toughest of men need taken care of from time to time. This is also posted under my AO3 account.
