Angie is a police officer/detective at the CIA that started a new "mission" against the car smuggler and drug seller German Castillo. She has to go to work for him and meanwhile she neets to get as many poof of his businesses as possible so then they can get him into the prison. But what happens, if the "business man", the person that everyone thinks is a monster is not really a monster after all? Will Angie find out about his nice side? And if yes will she be able to resist it?

This story is about angie and a secret she's keeping that makes her afraid to go back to Buenos Aires but when she has to go to Buenos Aires for work stuff what will happen what will happen to her little secret, what will she do when she sees German again? This book is of course about Herman and Angie. It is about the fact that Herman's (ex) wife hit by a car 'Maria' Maria and Angie Herman had collected (the sister of Maria), because her parents maltreated. When Angie was 4, Maria became pregnant with Violetta. But when Angie was 6 and Violetta 2 Maria was hit by a car, and survived them not. 17 years later is Violetta (19) and Angie (23) they are best friends. Herman (38) after the addicident always sad. Angie notice that Herman is sad and she tries to cheer him up. While Angie cheers Herman up they fall in love. But can they do that to Maria? Overcomes the love of the past? You can see all in this book.
