Bowser has become invulnerable by imprisoning the seven Star Spirits and using the wish granting powers of the mythical Star Rod from Star Haven. Mario, Doraemon, Noby, Sue, Big G, and Sneech must rescue the Star Spirits, who have been sealed in cards (Doraemon belongs to TV Asahi, Paper Mario belongs to Nintendo).
