You wake up in a new environment, a place they call The Glade; no hints of home here. Your memory is wiped, and you are the only girl among 20+ boys in a place surrounded by rock walls. Here, a new "greenie" arrives monthly, but you come with a special message: "She is the last one. Ever." Upon arriving, you meet the leader Alby, who keeps everything running smoothly; Newt, a clever Brit, and Thomas, who arrived only days before you. But among all of these new acquaintances, you meet Gally, one of the original Gladers, who wastes no time in telling you what to do and when to do it. But in this stubborn boy you begin to see more than just a control freak; he protects his fellow Gladers like family, and though he won't admit it, he'd do anything for you. I woke up with a sudden jolt. I began shaking. I stood up and tried to walk around but I tripped over something hard. I cried out in pain but hushed myself quickly, for I am strong. "Where am I? More importantly, who am I?" I said aloud. Casey didn't know why she was here or where here even was. She was scared, terrified. She is stuck in this place with all boys. All boys. They can hurt her. When she finds her self taking a liking to one of the gladers, she must stop. In order to live Casey can't be vulnerable but can she make it? Alone?
