Came across a bunch of stories and poems that I wrote as a kid, back when I dreamed of being an author! I thought I would share them for your entertainment! Some are... decent? After centuries of poor stewardship, the Earth has fought back. Mankind is huddled in fortified cities against the defensive strikes of their homeworld. A new arrival promises help, but will we accept even if they are sincere?

I'm using this as like a practice thing and writing abt random stuff that comes up in my mind at the time or stories (if you want you can recommend a topic for me to cover/write abt)

Global warming has taken over the world and the only survivors are people who were chosen to live in the Sphere. The story takes place a couple generations in.

"I was seven when we moved to Chicago. Florida went under water when I was six. After that, my life was never the same again." After 2012, everything changes for Declare and her family. Money gets changed. America is at war with China, now the biggest economy in the world. A national draft has been issued. Natural disasters are habitual phenomenons. For Declare, these changes inadvertently result in tragedy. Now, as a refugee from her flooded home, Declare fights to find the rest of her loved ones and more importantly, fights to endeavor through an ever changing society that may just be coming to an end.

I'm a dilittante poet, as you will plainly see. But I'm versed in the language of science, and I'm alarmed by what I see. Yes, planet Earth is in peril, and the day of reckoning is near. So, I have turned to poetry, to share with you what I see, from the backdrop of my science degree. ENJOY!!!

In the year of 2067, earth's average temperature has risen up to a dangerous fifty degrees Celsius. It made earth's soil inhabitable, making it hard to produce food to supply earth's 9 billion population. Government of developing countries started to collapse and only the strong one survive.These effects are called " The Hurdle ". So, the United Nations created an organization for governing the collapsed area, called " The Boardman ". Here's a story of Elliot, a teenager who is still in high school, facing the effect of The Hurdle.

The last great climate upheaval came at the time of the freezing of the last ice age. As people await the onset of the next ice age, climate change has over a period of hundreds of years brought about changes no one could have predicted - warming, a change in the oceans, the loss of the bottom end of the food chain, disease, migrations on a vast scale, the erosion of law and order, and finally, diseases that have ravaged a weakened population on a Biblical scale. Added to the dystopian reality of global warming and acidic seas somewhere along the line, humanity has lost its ability to regenerate itself. With a rapid decline in the number of successful conceptions, until, before we know it, the day arrives when mankind realizes there are no more new children to be born into the decaying world and those who have the answers why are keeping to themselves. Kate has left a legacy from the past. Only, she doesn't it yet, since she has yet to discover herself still in love with the man from a past she can never return to. In that past lies the answers to the predicament of the present, in the ash and rubble of a war that was never meant to have happened. In the first book in the series, Awakening, Kate is forced to face the pains of discovering who she is in a world very different than the one she knew, though she still knows who she is three centuries into the future of the one she was a part of. The world she enters is one where sea levels are reduced, the vapor trapped in ice sheets at the polar caps, while the rest of the world bakes in a dust bowl.

What would happen if all the ice caps melted? What would happen if all of the trees had been cut down? This story is about what our future could be like. Dixie is isolated and all alone how will she survive the end of the earth? A new chapter will be uploaded every week.
