Although, after being constantly rejected by him time upon time, Karina is trying to move past it; considering that she has problems of her own to battle if she wants to make it out of Arkham. But when Theo's big plan is coming into action and there's more promises towards Karina's future, will Jerome finally fess up and admit his feelings for her too or just take them to his grave? Things never seem to go well for Oswald Cobblepot, and that doesn't change as life continues for him. These days it feels as if he were on a loop, with the same things, in the same order happening again and again; unfortunate events, grief, violence and all-day drinking. Whenever things brightened up, they darkened just as quickly as they had lightened. And to make everything worse; Edward was gone, no longer trapped in a block of ice, so it was fairly safe to say that things were beginning to downhill, once again.

He was infatuated. So was she, but not with him.

Jerome and Ava had a bond, a connection, considering they were the only ones around their age at the circus. Things were going great between them, well as great as they can be when your mom is an abusive drunk and your parents are dead. But when they arrive at Gotham, things get out of hand.

One of them has trouble expressing their feelings, while the other's feelings are all over the place. When she visited him that night, she expected for him to stay out of her life for good. Sadly, they weren't granted a classic fairytale love story but they still somehow find a way to be 'something'. But what if she's tired of circus life and wants to do something more but he doesn't?
