Mabel and Dipper have always been close, and after their first summer in gravity falls they have only become closer. Everyone who knew them knew that they were inseparable. The Mystery Twins had a bond that no one could break, or so they thought. While doing a family tree assignment during their sophomore year of high school, the twins discover a family secret that will change their lives forever.

Haunted by Bill's presence even after defeat, Dipper begins to question his own role in Bill's sinister plans. But as Bill realizes just how pitiful the teen is, he suddenly changes his plans. After years of misunderstandings that lead to the brunet being ignored and hurt, Dipper Pines begins to pull away from his sister Mabel, who only starts to notice something is wrong when it is too late. In Gravity Falls, Dipper finds quiet comfort in Ford's company and dangerous support in Bill, who becomes his closest friend. After 4 years of manipulating Dipper into thinking of him as his friend, both of them become obsessed with each other. Dipper was Bill's toy, and Bill was Dipper's comfort. An unintentionally dangerous deal is made, causing them to be even more dependent on the other. When all chaos breaks loose, it's up to Mabel and the others to defeat Bill and bring Dipper back. When Merida argues and runs away, she followed the Wisps and went to meet the witch to make a spell for her mother. When Queen Elinor eats the cake with a spell, she transforms into a bear. Merida and the Toons have to find a way to break the spell or Elinor will be a bear forever. Will the Toons help Merida and save Queen Elinor to return her human form? The seemingly most insignificant things may just leave the biggest impact. In the case of this story, a few seconds created an entire alternate universe. Our stars have drifted apart. But is it worth the risk to bring them back together? Afterall, that machine just stole Mabel.
