They are called in the modern day as the Byzantines, to distinguish them from their classical counterparts. Trough the centuries, the Empire of the Romans went through many declines and resurgences, ages of despair and ages of gold, resilient despite the blows given by their enemies... and themselves, of course. But what if we grabbed one of the rare competent emperors with a handful of loyal (or at least reasonable) subjects and soldiers, and put them in the world of Terra? How will they adapt this time?
