The aim of the Greek regime is to have a pretext for annexing the island. A war between Turkey and Greece seems imminent. I would like to point out once again that this book is fiction, albeit based on intensive research into the historical context. All persons, including officials appearing in the book, as well as the plot, are fictitious. New chapters will be published every Saturday.
