What does a wife do? They clean the house, cook food, and wash clothes. Overall, do everything for the man in the relationship. But mine?.. He simply just has the title of being, "My Wife" He doesn't clean, doesn't prepare food on the table when I get home, he doesn't do anything for me. He outright ignores me, just like before our lives collided. He goes around, sleeping with others under my nose. Playing around with men and women. He drinks, goes to bars and spends the night at other houses with people who I don't know. And he doesn't care if I know, he doesn't even try to hide it anymore. But this was how his life was before we were forced into this. And he wants to keep it that way. Was I expecting for us to fall in love? To have each other, trust each other? Maybe I hoped a little too much. Prayed a little too hard. My family has a curse dating back generations. A curse on the oldest daughter of each generation that could result in her death if she doesn't make the right choices. I have two mates, and while it's not certain that one might try to kill me, it's happened before. There have been eight older daughters before me, three of them died due to the choices they made, three got their happy ending, and the other two, well, I guess you could say they got lucky. At the age of six, there was an attempt on my life, all apart of the curse, of course, because the curse makes me special, it makes me the strongest wolf possible. The curse doesn't take effect until I turn sixteen, so why not try to kidnap a child so that you can kill her the second the curse activates itself? Tomorrow, my life changes. Tomorrow I turn sixteen, and the curse activates. Tomorrow I might have two mates to choose from. Tomorrow I could make the wrong choice and ruin everything. Tomorrow I could make a choice that will get me killed.

The moons out, I have a pen in hand. I wish I were writing the stars down by name, but these are only thoughts. Thoughts I like to call poems. ⭐
