A little sneak peek: Chennai, 2014. Highschool. I was playing pen fight with Gokul when Chandru elbowed me in the ribs. "Macha, macha... un aal draaaa," he whispered. (Dude, dude... your girl.) I dropped my pen and looked at the door. Abi entered our class carrying a notebook. She handed the notebook to the substitute teacher. The teacher asked her something and then started signing. Abi used this time gap to look at me. She knew exactly which bench I usually sit on, so her eyes found mine instantly. I raised my eyebrows at her. She glared at me cutely, knitting her eyebrows together and scrunching her nose while slightly pouting her mouth. Damn!!! Suddenly, I became too aware of my hands. My hands were screaming, Bro, what do we do? ------------------------ Welcome to Abi and Ashu's journey. A slow-burn love story about growing up, innocence of school love, long-distance struggles, and the challenge of choosing between dreams and love. Before you begin, here's what you should know: *Inspired by a True Story* This story is inspired by real events from my life. It is written in a journalistic, slice-of-life style, so some parts may feel repetitive because real life doesn't follow a perfect script. While the emotions and major events are real, a few fictional elements have been added to make the story flow better. Also, the present-day portions are completely fictional. The story is mostly told from Ashu's point of view. But some chapters are from Abi's perspective and were written by my real-life girlfriend. These chapters share her side of the story and moments Ashu never saw. The story is set in a Tamil cultural background. Tamil dialogues are kept to preserve the emotions, with English translations included. Note: This is our first time writing a story. I used AI tools to improve grammar and polish sentences. I hope you enjoy being part of our journey!

Two brothers. One piano. Two very different journeys. Aden has always loved music. But growing up beside Freddie-a younger prodigy whose fingers seem to understand the piano better than words-leaves Aden wondering if there will ever be a place for him in the world he dreams of joining. While Freddie's talent shines effortlessly, Aden fights for every note, carrying the weight of comparison, family expectations, and a question that refuses to disappear: Is greatness something you are born with... or something you discover within yourself? From quiet afternoons beneath the banyan tree in India to the dazzling streets of Paris, Aden's journey takes him through friendship, heartbreak, love, loss, and the search for where he truly belongs. Along the way, he learns that music is not a competition between those who are gifted and those who struggle. It is a language that connects families, heals old wounds, and carries memories across generations and continents. Because becoming a great musician is not just about mastering the piano. It is about discovering who you are-and where your heart calls home.

A novel about the people we love, the people we lose, and the girl we become somewhere in between. This is not a story about a girl who always knew what she deserved. It's about a girl who had to lose pieces of herself before she understood she was allowed to want more. It's about almost-love. And the art of finally walking away from it.

Everyone remembers their first love. The first person who made your heart beat faster. The first name that became impossible to forget. The first feeling that made you believe you could give someone your entire heart. But what happens when first love doesn't end the way you thought it would? Years can pass. People can change. Memories can fade around the edges, but some feelings refuse to disappear completely. They say your first love is something you never truly forget. But does that mean it is the strongest love you will ever have? Can a love that comes later ever become more powerful than the one that came first? Or will your heart always belong, in some quiet corner, to the person who taught it how to love for the very first time? She thought she knew the answer. Until life gave her a reason to question everything. Because sometimes the hardest choice isn't between two people. It's between the past you can't let go of and the future you don't yet know how to choose. And when the heart remembers its first love, there is only one question left: Will it remember why it loved-or whom it loved?

As school comes to an end and life begins pulling everyone in different directions, the friendships she once considered unbreakable start to change. Caught between holding on and learning to let go, she must face her fears, her insecurities, and the truth about what friendship really means. Amelia, Sienna, Maya, Arielle, and their closest friend have built the kind of friendship people dream about. Through laughter, plans, secrets, disagreements, and unforgettable moments, they believe nothing could ever come between them. But growing up has a way of changing people. As their lives begin to take different directions, money, opportunity, social status, and personal struggles slowly begin to affect the friendship they once considered unbreakable. What starts as small differences gradually becomes something much bigger, forcing each girl to question what their friendship is really built on. When new connections and old wounds enter the picture, secrets begin to surface and loyalties are tested. Some of them will have to confront mistakes they've made, while others will discover that the people they trusted most aren't always the people they expected. And when the comfort, money, and lifestyle surrounding them begin to fade, one question remains: Who will still be there when there is nothing left to gain? When Money Fades is a story about friendship, loyalty, growing up, betrayal, forgiveness, and discovering which relationships are genuine when everything else is stripped away.

This isn't a romance novel or a mystery thriller. It's simply a collection of my thoughts, late-night reflections, and the lessons life has taught me over the years. Some pages hold poems. Some carry memories. Some tell short stories inspired by my experiences, while others capture feelings I never knew how to say out loud. These are pieces of myself I never intended to share. Yet here they are-not for attention, but as a record of who I was, what I felt, and how I grew. Maybe these words will remain just my diary in public form. Or maybe, somewhere along the way, they'll find someone who needs them as much as I once did. Welcome to the pages I never meant to share.

Growing up is tough. Finding a little section of the world where you can wedge yourself and somewhat fit in is even tougher. For Alyssa Morgan, standing out comes naturally, and as a result, so does being cast out. When this oddball is approached by the pop-punk band at her school to help with their music video, she accepts the challenge with an edge of skepticism. But as rehearsals turn into late nights, inside jokes, and chaotic adventures, Alyssa slowly finds herself pulled into a world she's always watched from the sidelines. And somewhere between the music and the moments she captures through her lens, she begins to experience something entirely new. Friendship. Belonging. And maybe even something more...
