You've heard so many rumors... so many... ghost stories and names surrounding this one abandoned hotel that sits atop a hill on the far side of the city you live in. Your friends had told you before to leave the place alone, but every once in a while, the thought of the hotel would slip into your head and linger there for HOURS. So, one cold and rainy fall night, you decided to finally quench that dreadful thirst by finally seeing for yourself what REALLY laid behind the doors of that seemingly God-forsaken hotel... Hello! And here I am once again ready to write ANOTHER story. I'm gonna try my best to keep this as canon as possible while also staying true to my headcanons for Seek. Seek Headcanonns!: Can talk with no mouth! (Magic, I know.) Shapeshifter because made of slime/goop and eyeballs. 5 inches taller than you as a reader because yes, but since he's a shapeshifter, he can make himself as small or tall as he desires. SUPER IMPORTANT! This fanfic is a remake of one I made a year ago on ACTUAL paper, so there will be LOTS of changes, but trust me! It will still be REALLY good! (Also, Dupe and all the newly added entities aren't gonna be in here so, just sticking with the OGs who we all know and love! Bitterly...) Some stuff that you might wanna know before reading this is that this is FEMALE Reader x Seek, so basically only for people who are female or identify as female. It's also okay if you wanna put your own pronouns while reading this as well! I don't mind at all. Also, no SMUT/Lemons because no, I don't like writing it and if past me didn't put it in the hard copy of this story, then I won't put it in the digital version in the future either. So, if you were looking for that then, sorry, this story might not be for you. Also, slow burn. (I like building up story and character, I wouldn't consider myself a writer if I didn't!) So, if you don't like that either, then this story might not be for you as well.

In the little coast-side Silvervine Valley, magic was not uncommon. There had been stories told by the townsfolk of the otherworldly that had lasted centuries. The most recent-and popular-were entities in a haunted hotel-that was once very famous-on the cliffside of the island. Cecilia Wilhelms, a shy, pacifist, yet confident and defensive girl-and the granddaughter of the owner of said hotel, has a knack for adventuring, paranormality, and the supernatural. When Cecilia ventures off to the hotel with friends, she uncovers the most burning question of all. The people spoke of paranormality in the hotel, but who's the real monster here? Man? Or monster?

When nine people were confirmed to have gone missing--the first real appearance documented at the place, Spark took it as an excuse to observe. His sister, Grace, joined to help the missing nine. On arrival, they met seven other individuals. Some were there because of the rumors they had heard, some because of the rumors they hadn't heard. Though as much as each of them thought they knew about this place, it would never be enough. Nobody can simply survive a place like this without trial and error. Set in the city of Springfield, Springfield FD is a spin-off of Guiding Light. It focuses on the lives of the paramedics and firefighters for the local Fire Department - Station 10.
