Gumball is in the hospital in a coma dreaming about a boy he's never met before and their extremely happy life together and Marshall is a nurse interning at the best hospital in the United States. One night Marshall is checking on some boy in intensive care. When he suddenly awakes quite disturbingly. "MARSHALL!!" Bubba screams as he jolts upward. Marshall dropped his clipboard and stared at the stranger shocked that he knew his name. He walked towards the boy wondering if he had heard him right when the young man wrapped his arms around my neck and forcefully pulled Marshall's lips down on his own.

This is the story of how the candy Prince Gumball reunites with his past, Marshall Lee the Vampire King. New love and old memories as well as a tragedy that is wished to have been avoided. The photo isn't mine.*

(This is based slightly on The Perks of Being a Wallflower, but I am going to try and stay away from copying the story line completely, characters are also not mine but I wish they were, as the title also say this is a gumlee story but there will be side ships as well)

The concept of his immortality is one that Marshall Lee has never truly grasped throughout his many years of life. What was its purpose? Struggling with every fiber of his being to feel, Marshall Lee will soon realize just what it means to have eternity.

It's Barnaby Gumball's junior year at A.A.A. without his best friend at his side. But when he ends up becoming the new music teacher, everything changes. Follow Barnaby and Marshall Lee on their journey of being in a relationship, coping with mental illness, and self discovery in Teaching Nostalgia!
