21 years ago in a kingdom where humans and witches lived in harmony, there lived the King and Queen who ruled the land with their kind hearts. Not long after their marriage, they were due to have a baby boy. However seconds after he was born, tragedy struck and the King and Queen were murdered by an unknown figure. As the castle staff became aware of the commotion in the bedroom, they not only found the figure who murdered the monarchs but that the boy was cursed with a monstrous form though this did not deter some of the staff from trying to save the boy and escape with him to one of the nearby villages. Sadly the servants that tried to save the boy were also killed but however had hid the boy within a secret cuboard within the castle walls shielding him from the figure. Those who escaped the castle, warned the villagers of the castle that lay within what they called 'the Nightmare forest' as they feared the monster that lived there which they name 'the Scarlet Beast' and most of the villagers headed the warnings though some tried to bring its head back to their village to either be given reward, glory or both. None have ever returned. If you thought you were gonna get a copout version of Disney's Beauty and The Beast but huntlow then you aren't too far off but the movie is mostly a base for this story as per the prologue which is nothing like the movie's prologue but I still hope that you enjoy! Though the most dominant ship is Huntlow, there is Lumity and Gustholomule and a tid bit of Raeda and none of the art is mine unless I specifically state it i because I do plan to add some of my original art. This is (at the very least temporarly) discontinued because lack of motivation and creativity. Very sorry for those who enjoy it! I don't think this will be forever but I need to put this on hold so I can work of some of the other fanfics I have in mind. As my name says, I am autistic and will take insults to heart so please be nice, thank you!

Belos is defeated, life is back to normal, but how can the Owl House gang go back to "normal"? Luz has to figure out doing witch school and human school while also being able to spend time with her mom and chosen family, of course, her cotton candy-haired goddess of a gf too. Gus gets into romance just a bit, and the worst parts of puberty. For Willow, though, she's changed so much, and while it's all in good ways, how can she really be sure? How can she go back to being able to chill after everything? What can she focus on now? She got so used to being scared for her family and friends. What can she do now? Then there's Hunter, who was already emotionally and mentally battered, but now, there was an added part of that pain. He has friends, which he is still getting used to, and maybe even a job? One that he feels drawn to like no other, but something else is pulling him closer. The captain, he always liked her, but is there something more there? Whose to tell besides him and Willow? None of these characters is my own! All are owned by Dana Terrace and the creators of The Owl House. Mattholmule moves from Glandus to a new school - Hexide, where he joins a club run by Gus, where he often teased him, and there, determined to gain power, Matt takes over the position of president, which changes their relationship into enemies. When Matt returns to his friends from the past, Gus finds out about it by accident and goes with them on a mission that completely changes their relationship... Enemies will become friends, and maybe even something more... After being paired together for a six week long final in their illusions class, Gus and Mattholomule struggle with cooperation and argue a little at first, but over time they open up to one another, Gus knows what he is, but Matt refuses to accept it, tension builds, hurtful things are said but both can feel that there's something more between them.

I wrote this without any real direction in mind, and while I'm not *crazy* proud of it, I figured I might as well post it here. Augustus and the others have just gotten back to The Boiling Isles after their encounter with Belos. Matt and Gus manage to sneak away for a few minutes to talk and spend some time together.

College au!! Gus had always been a bit ahead of the other people his age, but still decided to go to college with his friends instead of jumping ahead. Thats when he met matt, his new roommate.. or is there something else going on? Remember to vote if ya like the story!
