"Awakening: Third Poetry Collection" (2026~Unfinished). If you read my poetry collections from oldest to newest, you'll get to see the evolution and changes my style undergoes over time. However, there is no required reading order. Poetry is meant to be enjoyed, read how and what you wish. 😌 Two years have passed since my last poetry collection ended. College has made it hard to spend much real time in my imagination and with my notebook. A lot has changed in the two years I've been absent. This collection represents my reawakening. I look forward to seeing where it goes. As it grows in number and size, I'll update this description and add tags that accurately represent what it's about. In the meantime... take the risk! I'm proud of the progress my writing has made. 😉❤️

I fell for the warmth that knew it wouldn't last.

The city of thorns glowed with electric sorrow.

I feel the way your metaphors glow but the label that held you is gone.

When the mist subsided, your eyes found me again.

I wandered among the resting and found beauty where sorrow grows.

I hoped for your return, your warmth, your embrace, your soft whispers, and I have been waiting in silence for you.

Teenage years do not announce their endings. They fade quietly between exams and festivals, friendships and farewells, the slow learning of who we are allowed to become and what we lost. Where Summer Ends is a collection of haikus tracing those in-between spaces: the warmth of growing up, the ache of outgrowing it, and the small, ordinary moments that linger long after they pass. Love and loss are universal, and even reach beyond our solar system. Witness the power of love and the devastation it can bring in these short stories. Most of these are inspired by the 2019 Trials of Love prompts, and I've been adding other bits and pieces as inspiration hits.
