But childhood promises are easy to make... and life is not always kind enough to let us keep them. Years pass. Distance changes everything. People change. Families change. Half a Heart- Daya's the new girl. Niall's the popular jock in school. She's broken an confused. He's hiding things. ~~~~~~~~~ 17 year old Daya's life change when her mother died when she was only 15 .Now her father changed, but not like changed he's going to beat Daya. He kind of just ignores her. 18 year old Niall and his best mates aren't like the rest of the jocks. The stereo type of a 'jock' is, they date the most popular girls, hang with the right cohorts, and they're stuck up. Like I said, they're not like the other jocks in school.

Jake feels lost. He decides that he needs to get fresh air and goes for a walk and take in all the sounds. He thinks that Willow, his best friend should at least know that he is alive and calls her. They talk and Willow realizes something is wrong and starts driving to his house. Just as Jake starts walking back, he closes his eyes and sees something. A boy. He tells Willow about his vision and recognizes something that will change his life. Jake had a soulmate. What will happen? Will Jake ignore his soulmate or go on a long journey to find this person he barely knows? What happens when things try and stop them from meeting?
