Five minutes later, he was collapsing onto the ground, the liquid spilling onto the pages, inking the words with a signature ruby colour. The strange thing was that it tasted like blood. What happens when a well known author gets scammed by a boy that sells wine in a stall in the midst of the busy streets of new York? Kindness should never be taken for granted. Completed.

I flip the page of my book as the train slows down and comes to a stop. People try to go out as more try to come in. Someone yells. "Let everyone out first! Geez, it's not rocket science!" I couldn't agree more. When the crowd of people finally dies down and the doors close, I feel the weight of the seats shift when someone sits next to me. I continue reading my book as the train starts again and my body shifts with the rhythm of the wheels. "Gum?"
