This is an observational short story piece I wrote for an assessment at university - in less than 500 words we could only use a story to describe something - it could be anything, from your room, to an object, to a living thing, so long as it was entirely observational. Everyone believes it was a suicide, but after a strong accusation from her brothers other best friend Austin, Abigail doesn't buy it, she believes he was murdered, and Once Abigail's crush Noah gets interested in the case Abby decides to look farther In to it. Overwhelmed by curiousity Abigal starts to investigate, which quickly leads her down a dark path of dangorus information​ she never needed or wanted to know.

A horror story based off an accident. Imagine your are walking home. It's cold, and your all alone. Suddenly you hear a giant crash and a scream. Knowing nothing could will come of going in alone you call the police. They arrive shortly and you venture into the woods to your left. The first thing you see is a rope. Then the giant tree. But what takes you the longest (and has the most impact) is the quantity if nooses hanging from this tree. Each with stains on the ground and rope. You look to the tree trunk and see the letter. pinned by a rock at the base of the tree. You continue looking around for what made the crash and see another body. A small one, malnourished maybe? It slowly moves away. Making no noise. Read for the story of the hanging tree.

As soon as the arena exploded, I knew our plan had worked. All I needed to do now was find Katniss, Beetee, Finnick or Johanna. I saw a figure in the distance. "Johanna!" I called out to her. A hovercraft circled ahead. Haymitch and district 13 had seen us. We were going to live. "RUN!" Screamed Johanna. Confused I looked up. It wasn't district 13's. It was the Capitol's. Something stung the side of my head and I felt dizzy. I looked back and Johanna was on the ground, being picked up by the machine. We weren't going to make it, but in my heart I knew Katniss was going to be ok.
