They go through everything together, including finding out their wizards. James and Lily grew to love Hermione Granger for different reasons. Lily loved her for her intelligence and quick wit. James loved her for her spirit and fierce nature. Throughout the years, they watched as their son realize that he loved her too.

Hermione Granger, a little insecure 16 year old bookworm, was alone at her school, she was a brilliant young lady always on top of her many classes but she had no friends, no one to talk to, no one to laugh with, no one who cared, but this all changed when a jet-haired boy with striking green eyes took transfer to her school. She thought he was like the others, she thought he would tease her, bully her, despise her, but oh boy Hermione Granger has never been so wrong in her life before. Harry Potter was the complete opposite in fact, he talked to her, teased her playfully, he was nice to her and he was her first friend, but she didn't know that she was going to think of him as something more than a friend pretty soon. (This was my first writing, so it isn't my best work, very much the opposite actually.)

Harry broke up with Ginny and goes to the Pensieve to reminisce but, there is something off about these memories. Why can't Harry remember most of them?

The events of the battle in the Little Hangleton graveyard left more serious impacts and after-effects on Harry than everyone thought. The distrust, paranoia and disappointment that had built up in the young wizard over the years finally came to the surface, consequently, these emotions began to fuel his determination to survive and defeat Voldemort once and for all, but, the question here is: Will he be able to win and accomplish his goal while keeping his friends and loved ones by his side?, or will he sink into a dark desolation from which he will not be able to get out of. Of course, being a teenager with new thoughts and feelings doesn't help, at least he found a couple of books to entertain himself, what could go wrong? This story considers canon everything that happened until the end of the fourth book, from there on (which is where the fic begins) there are significant changes in the story and a few modifications in the use and functioning of magic. There will be no bashing towards any character as such, but there will be repercussions (in my opinion more realistic) in the interactions that they have with Harry based on past events.

I think the title is quite self explanatory.

Its been a few months after the war and Harry cannot stop blaming himself. He makes a decision to leave the country for good but will he have to return? Full of plot twists and mixture of a lot of plots.
