At the age of 14, Haru and Makoto promise that if they don't find anyone they like when their 25 years old, they will marry each other instead. As time goes on, Haru finds himself falling for Makoto, but he's not the only one. Will he be able to stop the advances from others, and keep Makoto from falling in love until their 25? Just a short MakoHaru story I wrote because I was bored...hope you enjoy!

Haru takes a deep breath. “I’m going to Tokyo.” It’s the last thing Haru wants, for Makoto to think that he’s going to Tokyo for him. Because he’s not, but at the same time, he is, and how both facts can be true at once, Haru has no idea. But they are. And Makoto lights up.

Makoto just recently got a perfectly folded note that is now in ashes. He refuses to tell what was on it and it is Haruka's mission to find out what it was. Makoto is really bothered by what is on the the note and does something he never does before, skip school. Now this puts Haru in a position to find out what exactly is on that note and how to bring Makoto back to his world so he can finally tell him something he has been hiding for years. Haru never had the courage to tell him until now. Status: ???

It was common knowledge at Iwatobi High that Haruka Nanase was the freak of the school.
