Haruka Nanase's life was a very simple one, he never smiles or even laugh, he is oblivious about the idea of Love. Only one person has ever understood him and that is his best friend Makoto Tachibana, then Sousuke Yamazaki comes to the scene and they grew closer. Along the way he will have to make a choice. Is it Makoto or Sousuke?

It was common knowledge at Iwatobi High that Haruka Nanase was the freak of the school. So when he commits suicide one chilly winter morning, the entire town doesn't seem to care; that is, besides Makoto Tachibana. Makoto can't help but feel guilty for not doing anything he can to help Haruka. If he had said something or even tried to be his friend, would things still have turned out this way? The humans were winning the long battle against the ghouls. They thought everything was going to end but, Rin and Makoto met someone whom they never thought they would ever see again...

Haru takes a deep breath. “I’m going to Tokyo.” It’s the last thing Haru wants, for Makoto to think that he’s going to Tokyo for him. Because he’s not, but at the same time, he is, and how both facts can be true at once, Haru has no idea. But they are. And Makoto lights up.

One is short, the other is tall..how many situations could such a difference create?

At the age of 14, Haru and Makoto promise that if they don't find anyone they like when their 25 years old, they will marry each other instead. As time goes on, Haru finds himself falling for Makoto, but he's not the only one. Will he be able to stop the advances from others, and keep Makoto from falling in love until their 25?
