The humans were winning the long battle against the ghouls. They thought everything was going to end but, Rin and Makoto met someone whom they never thought they would ever see again...

Makoto just recently got a perfectly folded note that is now in ashes. He refuses to tell what was on it and it is Haruka's mission to find out what it was. Makoto is really bothered by what is on the the note and does something he never does before, skip school. Now this puts Haru in a position to find out what exactly is on that note and how to bring Makoto back to his world so he can finally tell him something he has been hiding for years. Haru never had the courage to tell him until now. Status: ???

[A Makoharu AU] Warning: Angst & Smut Makoto Tachibana had a very cynical view on the world despite his happy demeanour. He believed that the earth was a corrupt land filled with corrupt people and corrupt laws. Nothing good ever came out of the city he lived in, it was riddled with crime and fraud, so, naturally, it didn't come to much of a surprise when the incident happened that day. However, it did leave him with one extra question floating around his mind: "Is it possible for your kidnapper to become your greatest treasure...?"

So when he commits suicide one chilly winter morning, the entire town doesn't seem to care; that is, besides Makoto Tachibana. Makoto can't help but feel guilty for not doing anything he can to help Haruka. If he had said something or even tried to be his friend, would things still have turned out this way? It's their wedding day and it's time for their first dance as a couple. ** The song they dance to is called "The River flows in You" by Yiruma. I recommend looking it up and playing it while you read ^^
