Haymitch has been informed that he has to accompany Effie on this trip and reacts as if he's just been sentenced to death. Meanwhile Effie is already planning outfits and schedules and train activities while Haymitch contemplates throwing himself off the platform before departure. Neither of them realizes they're about to spend several days trapped together in a snowstorm. How will their feelings change when they start to learn everything about eachother?

Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark have just been reunited. There is still tension between the two, but they are slowly growing back together, as close friends like they were before the hijacking and the Quarter Quell. What happens when something terrible happens to one of them? Will they be closer, or further than ever before?

If one day you wake up in a room, only to find your dead grandmother watching you, what would you do? For Effie, the answer is easy. She never wants to leave her again. Haymitch was reaped in the second quater quell--a quell with 100% more tributes. While trying to live, forming alliances and falling for a tribute, Haymitch knows he's going to win. He's going to win, and there's no exception. This is my interpretation of the 50th Hunger Games. I hope you enjoy!

When Katniss, Peeta, Haymich and Effie were travelling to the Capitol for the 75th Hunger games the last two had an accidental meeting. Can Haymich already stop feeling guilt for the victims in his games? Can Effie make him forget about all of this?

Years after Haymitch and Effies games they both have time to recover and slowly adapt to being grandparents as Rose and Fin become parents.
