Xie Lian, an Anglo Indian lives with his uncle and legal guardian Jun Wu in the posh area in the Himalayas of India. But he doesn't like the confined atmosphere in which he is kept, and one day he decides to run away to explore the bustling town right off the mountain slope he resides. And he runs right into Hua Cheng. Loosely based on the Rusty series by Ruskin Bond, a story which relieves my homesickness, even though I am from a satellite city myself.

It's just some kind of wild contrast - shoppers with trolleys stuffed to the top, annoying Christmas music, although it's only the beginning of December, the bright festive decor of the store, a rising snowstorm on the street and snow magically waltzing in the light of lanterns - and these two. The poor, counting every yuan, so young and seem to be all alone in a huge cruel world.
