Annabeth has been pushing it off long enough, but she thinks it's time that she finally gets in touch with her father. Two wars have passed and it's painful how quickly someone can lose someone they love, especially for a demigod. Despite the many troubles they have had earlier, she decided that she should at least give it a shot and try to get in touch with her mortal family again. Naturally Percy goes with her.
