After a mysterious dimensional accident, Chomp, Ace, Paris, Terry, Spiny, Tank, and Cryolophosaurus are transported to the Magic Dimension, where they are reborn as fairy children. They are adopted and raised by Miss Faragonda, the headmistress of Alfea: School for Fairies. As first-year students at Alfea, they befriend Bloom, Stella, Flora, Musa, Tecna, and the other Winx girls. Together, they battle the Trix and other villains while protecting the Magic Dimension with their unique Dinosaurix Fairy powers. Throughout the season, the seven siblings search for the truth about their mysterious origins, eventually discovering who their birth parents are in the Magic Dimension. Along the way, each also begins to find a future love interest, making new friendships and growing stronger as fairies. Together with the Winx Club, they prove that courage, friendship, and family can overcome even the darkest magic.

In the process, Roxy and Blossom are able to discover their powers, and believing in themselves and in PriestessesixXWinx Club, will turn into fairies and will help PriestessesixXWinx Club drive away the Wizards and rescue the imprisoned fairies. However, they now have to face the fairies of Earth and their Queen Morgana, who are seeking revenge on humans for not having believed in them: this has made them weaker and they have been imprisoned by the Wizards. The PriestessesixXWinx Club are forced into an uneasy alliance with the Wizards as they now race to save humanity. Will the PriestessesixXWinx Club prevail?
