In the hit game Breath of The Wild, DLC allows you to read other champions thoughts and feelings on their journey to the great calamity, but one diary is missing-Links. In this book, see what the hero may have thought and felt on his way towards the biggest fight of his life.

Years before Hyrule, a hero fought to protect the land and people which had been so cruel to him. He fought and defeated the demon king Demise. After the battle he remained on the ground after he raised his people to the sky. His life then expired, but the goddess Hylia came to him. She shed her divinity so that he may live again to protect the land that he loved, and so that she could fight beside him throughout eternity. This is the tail of his final struggle to save the land and to save himself.

You'd think that when Kara and her friend, Amanda, are sucked into 'The Legend of Zelda,' Link and Dark Link would fall in love after many melodramatic scenes (there's only one bed, oHnOoOOO!), they'd have a great adventure, and all would be just peachy. But that isn't life. No one wants to hear their trauma is a video game, that though they're a princess they're doomed to one-sided love for good storytelling, or that their identity doesn't go beyond being a sub-boss for a water temple. But Kara and Amanda want to change that, which sets Miyomoto, the creator of 'The Legend of Zelda', out for their blood. Rumor has it a hero has run amuck to undo all the dastardly damage done by King Ganondorf. The rains in Kakariko have dried. The forest has been eradicated of monsters and Lake Hylia is abundant with crystal clear waters once more. However the hero restoring peace to Hyrule once battle at a time is pretty... unremarkable. At least to you. The year is 2052, humanity's last year on Earth. Natural disasters have ravaged the Earth leaving nations devastated, food and resources limited, and civil unrest rising among a doomed population crammed into claustrophobic cities. With only 215 days left until the apocalypse, Allister Adams, a young African-American man with traces of inhuman DNA and supernatural abilities, is swept out of hiding when he intervenes to stop a terror attack. He's soon caught in a war for alien artifacts between two rival organizations: a government-organized task force of genetically advanced Evolutionaries like him, and a group of radical, stateless Evolutionaries orchestrating terror attacks worldwide for reasons no one yet understands. While fighting to overcome his fear of his abilities, Allister learns that these alien artifacts, hidden beneath Earth's surface for millennia, are humanity's only hope of escaping the series of catastrophic disasters predicted to culminate in the apocalypse.
