Hinata seems to be a simple, happy kid but that is just the one side of him that he shoes. Hinata Shouyou has DID. Dissociative Identity Disorder. The only person who has ever seen his other persenaloty is Kenma. Hinata explained the situation and Kenma befriended a whole knew side of Hinata. The thing is Hinata's second personality is an assassin named Kouyou that would do absolutely anything for Kenma before himself. Kenma can also control Kouyou if it is needed. One day at a training camp with Nekoma, Aoba Johsai, Fukurdani, and Shiratorizawa. Hinata keeps Kouyou suppressed because he doesn't want people to be afraid of him if Kouyou shows up. Well on the third day during a match between Karasuno and Shiritorizawa, Hinata missed a spike and well Hinata snaps and well all the players finally get to meet Kouyou.

Hinata Shoyo is a high school kid that plays volleyball for his team. He meets a new friend to play volleyball with over summer volleyball camp. Kageyama has been in love with Hinata for about a year. Watching how close Aimine and Hinata are makes Kageyama jealous. Kageyama confesses he likes Hinata out of jealousy. Life goes on... happily. Or at least for a short while. Tragedy hits and the lives of everyone is changed. Hinata falls into a depression and has suicidal thoughts. Kageyama falls far and is forced to make an unbearable decision. While Hinata on the other hand tries desperately to run away from his problems to help make everyone happy again. Things don't go as planned though...
