'"Not a thing?" the boy called Tristan's eyes glistened, and the only way I could describe his face was disappointment. I'm sure his face would be a diagram of the word in the dictionary somewhere.
"What's so special about you that I should remember?" I questioned, trying to lighten the mood. But, suddenly, a spark ignited in his eyes - it amazed me the emotions he could expressed behind those pupils - and he gave me a cheeky grin.
"I can give you a reason." He stared at me joyously. "I can give you seven."'
After a terrible accident, Matilda Bowen wakes up a week later, with an unusual case of amnesia, causing her to forget everything after freshman year at high school. As well as having to reassemble her freshman year and fit back into her sophomore year, her apparent neighbor will not leave her alone, despite being known as nothing but a friend amongst her family. Over the course of seven days, seven locations and seven reasons, Matilda discovers how he changed from the boy called Tristan, to Tristan.
