When former NHL coach Jack Craig returns to his hometown following the tragic death of his 16-year-old son, he finds unexpected purpose-and redemption-by coaching the struggling local high school hockey team, "The Medfield Wings". His rivalry with Luke Young, a quiet newcomer from the countryside with raw talent and a painful past, threatens to divide the team.
