Laura Hollis is a half-witch, half-human who's just graduated from Magic School. She joins her friends' coven, but they're overly protective of the newbie, especially since Laura doesn't have any powers. When her new guardian angel Carmilla shows up and asks Laura not to tell anyone, Laura finds out the magical world is everything she hoped it would be-- and more. Aka the Charmed AU no one asked for but I couldn't get out of my head. Updates every Wednesday!

Background: 27 year old Natasha is divorced and has a 4 year old son named Andrew. She's a full time actor that flies out to California often for work. Her best friend Elise 26 that she met on a set of a feature film is now living with them helping Natasha around the house. She works part time as an actor and at home journalist. Summary: Natasha flies out to LA to work on a project and Elise stays behind to watch Andrew. Elise and Andrew are meant to visit Natasha when things go downhill.

Carmilla has been going to the same little coffee house, conveniently located three blocks from her two bedroom apartment, everyday for the past year. Only now, it has less to do with their coffee (and annoying ginger company) and a lot more to do with the cute new barista behind the counter. Or... Carmilla has it bad for Laura...like, really bad. This is just a little snippet to see if I actually want to continue with this...we'll see.

In high school, Laura is stuck between her crush on Danny and her possibly, probably, maybe crush on Carmilla, who infuriates her and bothers her to no end. Then after three years of finally leaving her alone, Laura is in college and has had time to think, but apparently not enough, and Carmilla comes back with big news and Laura has to decide if her probable , most likely crush has turned into something more, or just her caring.

"I walk to the center of the field where the old wooden ball box is. There are a few people spread throughout the stands, and I meet Carmillas eye. She's sitting cross legged in the stands reading from her book like always. Uniform messy, with the sleeves rolled up and green tie hanging loosely. Suddenly her eyes dart back down to her book and she feigns uninterest. I roll my eyes, whatever, just ignore her. "Alright! Positions everyone!" A little Hollstein, hogwarts drabble I did forever ago. Might turn into a whole story if I get some positive feedback. Credit to the artist of the cover yo.

Carmilla witnesses Laura's (a total stranger to her) death and is really shook up about it. The next day she realizes she's living the same day over again, thus throwing Carmilla into a loop until she can save Laura's life.
