This story is my greek mythology version of the anime Hotarubi no Mori e. Just so ya guys know. This was a project I did for English class. I decided to post it because it ended up pretty cool. I hope you guys find it cool too. Enjoy!

Gin tried to save a little human boy and perhaps that was his end. But wait, maybe it wasn't........ ~ An alternate (and happier) version of the extremely beautiful anime movie, "Hotarubi no mori e" for all those who were heartbroken after watching the movie (like me).

I'm always asking... Why does it have to be him? Out of all people, why him? He did not do anything wrong. So why does he have to disappear--when all he had done is to love? Why did his parents had to abandon him? There are so many questions in this world that can be asked, but mine was always.... Why? But then again I wouldn't have met him on the forest if that didn't happen. We wouldn't have been able to love each other if something else began from the start. And when I'm about to lose hope of ever finding love, I met him. Again. This time, the story I will tell is different. Not what you or I had expected... ....But different..

Three years after Gin's obliteration... how's Hotaru?

!!!SPOILERS, DON'T READ IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED HOTARUBI NO MORI E!!! Years have passed since Hotaru's close friend Gin has disappeared. Nowadays, Hotaru has been working hard at her job near her Uncle's house. Even though she works near the forest, she can't bear to go back- not without Gin. Until now... (Title means Return to the forest of fireflies- I just used Google Translate)

Hotarubi no Mori e tells the story of a six-year-old girl named Hotaru Takegawa, who gets lost in a forest inhabited by a mountain spirit (god) as well as Yokai. She is found by a mask-wearing human-like entity named Gin, who informs Hotaru that he will disappear forever if he is touched by a human. Gin then leads Hotaru out of the forest. She returns to visit him over the next few days and become friends, despite limitations on their interactions. Although at Summer's end, she must leave Gin to return to the cities and her studies, Hotaru promises to return to visit him every summer. As the years go by, Gin hardly ages while Hotaru grows closer to his age. They form a budding romance for each other and one night, Gin invites Hotaru to a festival, but that fated day is sure to come. This novel is based directly off the movie, Hotarubi no Mori e. ---Watch it--- (can be found on YouTube, etc.)

A sequel to the one and only Hotarubi no Mori e. Hotaru finds her haunted with dreams about her beloved Gin and is unable to get past this point in her life. She finds out that Gin spirit is still alive but is in danger somewhere in the heavens. Will Hotaru be able to save her one true love before it's too late?

This is a fanfic about Hotarubi no Mori e. But I will also add a little bit about my real life story. I would also like to recommend you to watch that anime movie para relate tayo.xD

madara never thought that he would fall in love with a girl he met in the forest. he always thought that he would be lonely forever until he met a girl wearing a mask. the girl madara met was named y/n. she has no last name due to her being abandoned in the forest all alone, but that was until some spirits saw her crying baby figure out in the opening. the spirits pity the abandoned little girl and took her in as their own. but since she's always with the spirits they made a seal so that they can always protect her. but if she touches or been touched by a human, then... The seal will break. Stay tuned for a love story between madara x reader! Enjoy! Naruto does not belong to me, and if it did then itachi would've killed danzo instead of his clan.

In which a story when a girl (Y/n) is reborned after many deaths but this time she's the heiress of a famous assassin family she goes through adventures such as going on a mission with her twin to assassinate a certain octpous with her friends but still cant move on because she thinks all of the deaths in her past lives was her fault in her past lives she's always been there for everyone but who'll be there for her?...

Heavily inspired by Hatorubi no mori e. This story tells of Sickly Mikaela who meets a strange but and the time that they spent together. Felt like I had to put my love for this anime in words. Crudely done cover but the story is rather beautiful.

Time might separate us some day, But...even still, until then, Let's stay together.
