Hiccup Horendous Haddock III loved Berk with all his heart. It was the place where he was born, and where his family lived for generations. He would do anything to keep them safe, even if it meant he could no longer live on Berk itself. Even if it meant everyone there...wanted him dead.

Hiccup H. Haddock didn't grow up as a Berkian Viking. Cast off to see as a baby, and raised by pirates. When he is found floating and half dead in Berkian waters, he is rescued my Stoic the Vast. Essentially trapped, the young pirate seeks to find a way off the Island, and in this he meets a Nightfury.

Dragon!Reader x Toothless So I made this because I was thinking, "Hey wonder what would be Toothless and Hiccups reaction if when they walked into the Dragon Sanctuary." Since Berkians can remember, every person in the teenage years will gain the ability to shapeshift into their spirit animal. You don't know what age you'll gain the ability exactly but it always happens in your teens. Throughout Berkian history, not one Viking has ever had a dragon as their spiritual form. From what I'm guessing it's because Vikings loath dragons so much, hating dragons is part of their personality so it makes no sense for a dragon loathing Viking to be a dragon. I wonder what would happen if a Berkian turned into a dragon? Third Person POV

Y/n, a ancient night fury that has terrorized the lands for a while before almost never showing itself due to a hunter killing every night fury.

Y/n was a young child who lived on Berserker Island as the Chief's child alongside their brother and sister, Dagur and Heather. They had gone missing at a young age when a boat they were travelling on had capsized, they were never heard of again along with the many other Berserker Vikings travelling on said ship. Both Heather and Dagur, who are now Dragon Riders, acknowledge the death together whenever they reach Berserker Island. Hiccup and the gang decide to travel to Melody Island to collect Death Song amber from the deserted island, although they find much more than amber and something much more serious than just a new Death Song. Y/n has always been Hiccup's best friend. She has also always calmed the dragons around her, yet no one knows why (yet). She is the "sister" of Astrid Hofferson, and she was found at a young age by Alin. However, when Hiccup shoots down a night fury finding another at its side a secret is revealed about y/n. This series covers the entirety of the first movie and introduces "Dragons Riders of Berk." I also decided to give Astrid's parents names, they are Ferguson (dad) and Alin (mom) her name is pronounced Ah-lyn. Anyway!
