21 years ago in a kingdom where humans and witches lived in harmony, there lived the King and Queen who ruled the land with their kind hearts. Not long after their marriage, they were due to have a baby boy. However seconds after he was born, tragedy struck and the King and Queen were murdered by an unknown figure. As the castle staff became aware of the commotion in the bedroom, they not only found the figure who murdered the monarchs but that the boy was cursed with a monstrous form though this did not deter some of the staff from trying to save the boy and escape with him to one of the nearby villages. Sadly the servants that tried to save the boy were also killed but however had hid the boy within a secret cuboard within the castle walls shielding him from the figure. Those who escaped the castle, warned the villagers of the castle that lay within what they called 'the Nightmare forest' as they feared the monster that lived there which they name 'the Scarlet Beast' and most of the villagers headed the warnings though some tried to bring its head back to their village to either be given reward, glory or both. None have ever returned. If you thought you were gonna get a copout version of Disney's Beauty and The Beast but huntlow then you aren't too far off but the movie is mostly a base for this story as per the prologue which is nothing like the movie's prologue but I still hope that you enjoy! Though the most dominant ship is Huntlow, there is Lumity and Gustholomule and a tid bit of Raeda and none of the art is mine unless I specifically state it i because I do plan to add some of my original art. This is (at the very least temporarly) discontinued because lack of motivation and creativity. Very sorry for those who enjoy it! I don't think this will be forever but I need to put this on hold so I can work of some of the other fanfics I have in mind. They decided they need to stop him before he can set his plan into motion. Luz is a 20 year old barista working at her aunt's(Mom's best friend) café with her friends. She's grown a liking for this regular, Amity Blight. She doesn't know much about the fellow 20 year old other than they went to the same school, she's quiet shy, and Willow and her were friends. Luz has tried to make it her goal to be friends with the Blight. Amity is a 20 year old. She started a job at her parents' business as an assistant. One morning she stopped by a decently rated cafe, where she sees Luz. After that Amity couldn't help but stop every morning, trying to work up the confidence to speak to the barista. But it's a lot harder than the books and movies make it out to be. ~ This AU follows multiple POVs and might even swap POV's in chapter. This is so the same event can be seen through multiple POVs without changing chapters. The main POVs will be Luz, Amity, Willow, Hunter, Gus, and Vee. Extra POVs will follow The Blight twins, Eda, and more. This AU will go over the time of multiple months and possibly years passing holidays(Ex. Thanksgiving, Christmas, Etc. Etc.) Hunter knows Willow is special to him even before she is declared Grom Queen and asked to face her greatest fear in front of the entire school. He knows she's more than just his friend when he gives her a lovely little gift for Grom, before he sees his own possession as her fear, and before she comes through the fight victorious. And Hunter also knows that he isn't brave enough to say what he wants to say on his own. So with Luz's encouragement, he puts on a mask and a cape and tells Willow three very important things, one about his past, one about his present, and one about his feelings.
