But the past isn't done with any of them and when the ghosts come calling, they might be the only thing keeping each other from falling apart again. "WHERE THE HELL IS HE?!?!" The god of darkness demanded, voice thundering off the walls. His eyes were a bright red, waves of rage rolling off his stature in a thick black smoke, forming a blanket of darkness around his figure. The surrounding security guards shuddered in fear but they stood tall in faux confidence. He could hear one of them screaming for backup, as they knew their guns and bullets were futile against this unknown person. "Let me ask you again. Where. The hell. Is. He?" He asks the trembling guard he held up off the ground, his long, sharp black nails digging into the flesh of the guards neck. It's obvious that he's much more calmer now but anger was still evident in his tone. He vaguely heard the ding of the elevator as the guard started turning a dark shade of red. He was quite amused with the change of color in the guards skin. The sound of rushed footsteps fell deaf to his ears as he pressed his nails into the guards neck drawing drops of crimson liquid. He was about to sink his nails into the guards neck as he was useless to him when two voices call out his names both filled with shock. "HOÖR?!?" Lira Vetrovina was a name once spoken in a softer world-before the cold halls, the forced silence, and the years spent imprisoned in Hydra's grasp. There, her memories were not just reshaped but suppressed-pressed down into fog and static until she could no longer tell which parts of herself were real and which had been constructed. Even the face she loved most was dimmed into nothing but dreams and flashes. There, she became Stratus. A designation, not an identity. A presence without noise. A weapon that arrived before anyone noticed the sky had darkened.

What, never heard of her? Typical. She has more kills than the Winter Solider. She was taken when she was 4 for her powers. When she escaped she decided to keep her name. HYDRA thinks she is dead. They aren't looking for her. When Clint crashes the quinjet in the field beside her yard, she allows them to stay in her house, no one recognizes her. No one, until Winter walks through the door, and sees a girl that he valued like a sister come up the stairs to greet him and his new team. (This is set in a time and place where the Sokovia accords don't exist and Tony understood that Winter was not to blame for his parents death)
