But as for me, marriage is sacred. Being a child, I've always expected myself to be hooked with a hot prince charming every princesses have in Disney movies, but now, I don't know how I ended up with a wannabe. This was the day, the day I'm starting to be bound with this Whitlock. I'd rather be with his brother, maybe he'd be considerate of people's feelings. I held his hand, and he locked his fingers on my mind, squeezing it tightly. It felt wrong. Everyone clinked their glasses, as I sat uncomfortably with my legs on top of another, while my future husband ─ as no one wanted, laughed his way out. It made me more uncomfortable. So many people were in the hall, talking about how expensive our lives would be if we merged, which was bound to happen in this case. I stared at him, and by surprise, he looked back. I wouldn't deny though, he looks so captivating, and mysterious. Who are the Whitlocks and why are they so close to my family?
