i've been writing this one book for a while and i'm pretty sure i'm never gonna release the whole thing anywhere so why not just give ya'll some short parts from it ? so the thing is about a band called " the sun " . it includes a bassist ( sabrina " brina " beach ) , a guitarist ( marlene " mary " wood ) , a drummer ( daphne " daph " prince ) and a lead singer who also plays saxophone ( vera sun ) . the plot is about vera coming to terms with her sexuality and admitting she's in love with the drummer . since this is set in the 1970s , vera tries to hide this since it wouldn't be well received . it all ends in her being shot during a concert . ( also , just a warning that this story includes some homophobia and slurs so if that's not your cup of tea i don't recommend reading . ) ( and if anyone's interested , the cover is a cropped picture of my actual wife , suzi quatro )
