Soul Mates are chosen by the Moon Goddess. Having a soul mate means that you would choose them over anybody and everybody in any and every universe or situation. Contrary to a ton of teenage boys' and some teenage girls' beliefs, having a soul mate doesn't mean you're being controlled by the Moon Goddess. She's just makes your choice easier. Sadly, my mate didn't believe that. Chloe Geller's sixteenth birthday did not turn out as she planned. Normally for a werewolf on a teenage girl's sixteenth birthday, she meets her mate, love at first sight, happily ever after. That did not happen for her. Instead, she found out that Lake Brooks was her mate and already had a human girlfriend he refused to leave. What happens when she's pushed off the edge? When she finally hits breaking point? Who will be there for her? Who will show their true colors? And what will happen when Lake finally leaves his girlfriend and decides that he wants to be with Chloe?
