Meanwhile, Ian Stein and Tess Nikola are navigating the halls of the Rootworld academy of the arts and dealing with the growing pains that come with teenage changes, such as, developing their theories of Relationship and the Magno-electric spectrum.

As the two of them grow closer, the more Winter learns new things, but the more she discovers, more questions appear in her head, questions that can only be answered in time.
