"इब्तिदा हुई थी खामोश निगाहों से, कुछ इस कदर कि अब उसकी ही तस्वीर निगाहों में है" ________________________ My eyes spoke a language only my heart knew, while the world saw nothing but a girl with a quiet smile. This isn't just poetry- These are the remnants of a decade long devotion. These verses talk about the "नयन युध"- the battle of eyes my devotion always falls at. "गिरा अनयन नयन बिनु बानी, कहत न बनइ कछु असि अनुबानी।" Read it before the ink turns back into silence. If you have ever loved someone enough to let them become ur devotion, this is for you. And finally, Turn the page only if you are ready to see what years of unsaid love looks like when it finally bleds into verses. _______________________________________________________

First of all, thank you for selecting 'simplicity'. This is a poetry book. Which speaks out feelings, sometimes it may not rhyme because feelings could rhyme than there's no need to speak. Give a read to it and don't forget to vote and also let me know in comment section was it worth reading.

You think nicotine is addictive Unless you kiss lips that taste vaguely of spearmint And you realize the most dangerous drug of all Is holding somebody after losing them and then losing them again.. You think cannabis lifts you off the dirt you've been creating for yourself Commit all those seven deadly sins And see nothing helps Dig a bigger grave in your dirt before going up high For you are about to fall Your words that bite skin Seem so ordinary to me If I could rearrange them, I'd propose the world with affection That you never gave to anyone Despair, strike me gently every night Every minute when I start to hear the roaring void Louder than you, it unsettles the calm And I lose my breath With myself
