Almost Mine is a collection of short poems and thoughts about the love that stays quiet. It is for the friend who stayed "just a friend." It is for the person who smiled at the wedding while their heart was breaking. It is for the love that was deep, respectful, and never spoken out loud. We all sometimes feel tired and too exhausted, hopeless and demotivated,like what's the purpose of our life and what will we gain eventually after doing all what we do... What's the use of living if we loose our loved ones.

This poem convey's a persons crave to have a support and that to have a person to whom he can show his true nature without fear. Infront of whom he can cry and play like a child and that too without worrying of being judged.

to my future wife

I scream and no one hears it so I just mold my thoughts into words and pour everything down on pages. My only way to cry , scream , shout is through my words. The Planes Above Hauz Khas is a nostalgic poem about a young girl who once believed that every airplane flying over her home carried her wishes into the sky. As she grows older, she learns the truth about where planes are going, but she never completely loses the magic of her childhood belief. It is a gentle reflection on dreams, hope, and the little things we carry with us as we grow. About the Author I, Lavanya Y. Rao, am a new and aspiring writer. I find inspiration in the simple moments and little experiences of everyday life. I wrote The Planes Above Hauz Khas after watching a plane fly above my house and imagining the wishes and dreams it might carry away with it. Through this poem, I wanted to bring back the innocence of childhood and the beautiful belief that our wishes can somehow find their way to the places where they can come true.
