This is one of my few written stories (for now), and it explores dark, emotional territory - a quiet descent from love into isolation. It's a character-driven narrative meant to test the reader's empathy, patience, and sense of right and wrong. What begins as a tender reflection on belonging and family slowly unravels into something more unsettling. It's not a horror story in the traditional sense, but it is meant to leave you uneasy. Interpret it how you will. I'm still learning, but I hope it connects with someone out there.

Alistair is a oddly talented young prince that has yet to learn how to rule the kingdom. Under the guidance of the royal advisor Alaric, he'll find out soon. His brother-at-arms Sirius is a combat prodigy who becomes both his guardian and matchmaker. Yes, matchmaker. Upon encountering a certain underground group or cult of some sort (they don't know and honestly, I don't either... yet), they must leave the palace to ensure their safety. After fleeing the palace (for reasons not to be disclosed), they stumble upon Ebony, the self-proclaimed Princess of Mischief. Who tries to beat the crap out of them, only to be subdued by their mentor Perseus. With a name to clear and a country to fix, is there any hope for our young protagonists? Quite honestly, I doubt it. They're only moody teenagers after all. A close friend of mine encouraged me to let the world know of my writing. This is one of the earliest stories I have ever written, so I would greatly appreciate any constructive criticism my readers have to offer. That's all.
