I have always been Broken. I've just mended myself a bit. My name is Maddie Prior. I suffer from depression. I am a Divergent. I chose Dauntless. And I might die because of it. One year before Tris Prior leaves for Dauntless, Maddie Prior does. But there's still cracks. Because I'm still Broken.

This basically follows Tobias and Eric’s initiation class and a different initiation class. Then what happens in the Divergent Trilogy from an outside party. (If things go as I plan…) +++ Knife-throwing, gun-firing, train-jumping, and almost-getting-killed-on-a-daily-basis are things that Gage Holston has known her whole life, but why is she still terrified of everything? Why does she have a secret reading nook in the library? Why does she feel like an intruder in her own home? Why does she trust a Stiff more than her own friends? If the Dauntless are the embodiment of freedom, why does Gage feel confined? Reading, taking tests, studying, and basically-having-her-nose-in-a-book-her-entire-life are the only things Petra Carlisle has ever known. And Petra liked her life. She was never threatened, forced to jump onto moving trains, or forced to jump off of really tall buildings. Petra was safe in her own little world. Then she witnessed something that showed her things were not safe for people like her. And suddenly little scaredy-cat Petra Carlisle is launched into the notorious Dauntless initiation and there’s no turning back.

Hey divergent fans! So this is my first fan fiction but I think it will be really good! This story is about tris's initiation but it's different then the book I promise! Along with her Erudite friends, Ellen and Amanda, and her Candor-born best friend Delilah. No copyright intended, I only wrote this for fun, and my friend suggested I post it on Wattpad, to get feedback that wouldn't be biased. In a fictional world, everyone has to graduate Initiation, otherwise they won't move on to Real Life. The Initiates can't wait to graduate, including Serenity-until her best friend goes missing after graduation. Follow her as she tries to find Miracle and the other Graduates. Remember: Miracles can come out of nowhere.

how long does it take to climb the ladder?

The war is fianlly over and Tris Prior is finally finding peace. With Tobias's love and protection, and the laughter from friends Tris's life could finally be what she wanted. Along side the game Candor or Dauntless, Dauntless cake and of course shopping with Christina will she get the life she wanted? Or will it crumble before her? (I do not own any of the Divergent characters!)

Four and Six are initiation instructors, and are having fun scaring the living daylights out of the initiates. If I get into it, the story might continue to be a prequel to my other Divergent No War story. On hold indefinitely.
