You aren't judged by who you are, you are judged by what is written on your face. Society is made up of civilians that have strange, inked symbols imprinted on their face. The symbols on your face represent what kind of a person you are and begin to make an appearance from the age of ten. From then on a symbol is imprinted on your face every year on your birthday. Unlike everyone else Adam Fowles is an anomaly; the only person living, who is seventeen, and isn't a part of the inked revolution. {completed}- short story by (@captivates)

Poetry: ramblings of my mind

"Dylan, you cannot hold our kid like that!" "What do you mean?" I exasperate. "You're holding our kid like a football. . ." She crosses her arms, looking unimpressed. My eyes fall to the giggling little toddler pinned between my hip and arm. Her tiny arms are wrapped around my leg as she nuzzles her pudding covered face against my pant leg while her legs dangling freely, lightly bumping into my back thigh. "She loves it!" Belle is normal. Or, was. She was just a girl living in Phoenix with her family and best friend, Mason. Then she gets Inked. As she travels to Zirus, Land of Mythics, she is introduced to creatures and beings she thought only existed in fairy tales. As Belle gains more and more knowledge about this new world that she is now apart of, she learns that things might not as great as they appear, and discovers things about herself she never would have guessed.
