In introspect, Maya should have seen it coming, she spent every profound moment of her adolescence with Louis, talking about everything and nothing thus blooming the inevitable falling for your bestfriend saga. It's a narrative that seems written in the stars, almost unavoidable, ingrained. An age old theory that platonic friendships can not exist between two best friends of the opposite sex because one of them is bound to fall for the other.
