The differences. Everyone knows about it, but no one really appreciates it. Someday maybe, we all say. This one's about me. About you, him, them, the people, about lives or let's just say everything and all. That, "Someday I'll get better" is here.

BUT I'M STILL HERE

Have you ever wondered what is out there? What might be lurking in the darkness between the stars? What terrors? How little we know about the universe that surrounds us and our own existence. Compared to the endless distances and giant objects humanity seems insignificant, not even worth a footnote in the timeline of an old and ancient cosmos that has been around long before our ancestors escaped the oceans of our planet and will still be there long after we have faded away. This is a collection of dark poems about life, the universe, existence, and the unknown terrors beyond our imagination.

Do you know about the butterfly effect? It is when something so insignificant as stone being thrown into the ocean causes massive waves further on into the future. I knew that it existed, as things were always changing, but I never knew that me speaking with an old man named Akihiro Aburame would change so much of my future. Or that Himoka had to go away for the day. These are the things that changed my insignificant little life in this big big world. My name is Haruka Aburame, and I am an insignificant blind girl playing ninja in this world of bloodshed, war, and assassination. Life would be so much simpler as a bug. That way, I am equally insignificant to everyone else.

This is my collection of poems for the Attys! There are ten poems, each in a different poetic form. A complicated poem about simple things in life.

Words are the dim shadows of the forgotten ones, the ones left behind - they are the smiles of the saddened, and the frowns of the kind.

@poems.i.guess i was bored, depressed and heartbroken (: first three parts are kind of a description of what happens to me when winter is over and i have to say goodbye to my seasonal depression. i always part with my depression with a story or a poem. these are all from the last three years, and i hope you enjoy reading them. i hope they inspire you or make you think, or maybe encourage you to create art? The 4th, the 5th and the 6th part talk about how I got to know this person, the first person that I ever let in completely and thought that I've finally found someone who'll understand me and I finally thought that I was doing fine, but in the end I got my heart broken like never before. i don't know, but i hope it helped you in some way.
