Just random thoughts on how we are living our lives

Pretty much exactly what the title suggests - a collection of poetry.

~For Anti-Bullying Awareness Month~ Cody is a girl who is sick of it all. She cannot take the constant pressure of being picked on all the time. In fact, she cannot take ANYTHING anymore. What does she do? She attempts suicide. Her former best friend, Jason, can't believe the news when he hears it. Cody is in the hospital, due to an overdose of prescription drugs. He reflects upon the last few years, thinking about all the things he could've done differently... SHOULD'VE done differently. In this realistic teen drama and romance, see how bullying is effecting a person's mental, emotional, and physical health. And see how it can effect their loved ones as well.

Do you know about the butterfly effect? It is when something so insignificant as stone being thrown into the ocean causes massive waves further on into the future. I knew that it existed, as things were always changing, but I never knew that me speaking with an old man named Akihiro Aburame would change so much of my future. Or that Himoka had to go away for the day. These are the things that changed my insignificant little life in this big big world. My name is Haruka Aburame, and I am an insignificant blind girl playing ninja in this world of bloodshed, war, and assassination. Life would be so much simpler as a bug. That way, I am equally insignificant to everyone else.

Why make something believe it has value only to watch it crumble and tear itself apart when it realizes its insignificance?

I love writing, a lot. I also have emotions to work through, because hey, who doesn't? This is called Unanswered Poems for the Remaining Unrequited because I often feel unanswered, I feel alone like I'm the only one left, and I feel like I'm not going to return. But poetry helps me get through stuff, and I hope when you read my poems you read something you enjoy.

Think of yourself as a dot on the world. Now zoom out. Zoom out past the country, continent, even way out of this galaxy. We are all small. There is no point to our lives. So give your life reason. These are my hopes and dreams to become something more than one ant in an anthill; I want to be special to and for myself.

I'm like an actor who forgets his lines because of stage-fright. I can't trust myself. So let my writings speak for my heart and for my head, let them say the words I can't say aloud. This is all I've got, since being quiet and contemplative hasn't gotten me anywhere. I try to keep sarcasm at a minimum, but hey, what can I say, it's hard not to be witty. Or cheeky. Anyways, this is me, expressing how I'm questioning too many things, trying not to be in love, and figuring out how to just be over a 6-month period. Let's just say that "it's coming quite naturally" is an understatement.
