It's the tiny tales that tell the biggest stories.

They came for me on the bridge after school. Losing both my dad and my ability to speak, along with having to attend a new school, was a numbing new reality. But it was after that first day of school when I met the brothers on the bridge... This short story is based off of a Christmas novel I wrote in 2020.

Her bother, Tamith was her last hope. He was her oldest brother and only but he left to war and passed away due to fatal illnesses. Sadly Aruba didn't get to say goodbye. So this is where she is now. Alone, and finding the better of life, without anyone to guide her way.

This kinda starts in the middle but I'll try to write a beginning for it later. *This is based of some line in a movie whose name I cannot remember but it had something to do with integrity or rather a lack of.
