Written for the EyesLipsFierce Write-a-thon, a challenge dedicated to all the powerful and amazing women of the world, this is a tribute to one of the best people in my life; someone I'm lucky enough to call my best friend. I love you Abigail.

Every Women is a 𝓠𝓾𝓮𝓮𝓷, Strength & Respect to all 𝓠𝓾𝓮𝓮𝓷 out there. 𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧'𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏! .

These are mostly unedited, random thoughts about life from the point of view of objects. They probably aren't that great -- just some shorts. Here's to giving inanimates a voice.

I am thrilled to be partnered with e.l.f. Cosmetics for their #EyesLipsFierce Write-A-Thon. Based on a true story. I thought my life was full of harshness until I met her. When I first met her, she was a twenty-four-year-old mother of a six-year-old son. We became friends instantly and I got to hear her story. I was shocked and devastated. Who could have guessed that a kind, gentle, lively girl had such a painful past? From that point onward, I realized how blessed I am. I promised that I would never pity myself and I will strive everyday to achieve my goals and dreams. If she can fight even though she has nothing, why can't I when I have everything? P.S. For every story written under the #EyesLipsFierce e.l.f. Cosmetics will be donating a dollar to Girls Inc, a nonprofit that seeks to empower women!

Dedicated to the woman who shaped my world view, and Happy International Women's Day to all the women out there making people's days and shaping lives!

This book contains cinquains dedicated to remarkable women throughout the course of history. Originally it was written for Women's History Month 2021 (with one poem for each day), but I have since decided to continue writing these as there are of course far more than 31 life stories to honour. Some names you might recognize, as some of the women included have (rightfully) gotten more recognition in recent years. And maybe you'll learn of a new story or two as well.
