There is something we must see everyday, despite doing our best at times to avoid. You can try all you want by ducking, concealing, or flat out just ignoring it. Eventually, the real truth comes out. Your ears are ringing, echoing in your brain, and everything hurts so badly. Your vision is going blurry as you try to fight back the tears, and you're wondering why you even try anymore. At one point or another, most of us have experienced the feeling of worthlessness, shame, or guilt. We feel like we're at rock bottom, and it seems like nothing will ever get any better no matter how hard we try. One thing we do know for sure, though, is that where there is dark, there is bound to be light, no matter how small that speck may be. There's always hope, no matter how far out of reach it may seem. Now eight years later she is starting to gain more and more control over her vampire self but what happens when the Masters come for a visit and let's just say......it's not so friendly.

"Lucias, please-" Scarlet starts, but I cut her off. "It's not like you actually care Scarlet" I said coldly, not bothering to look at her. "I do" I look up slowly, to stare into her warm hazel eyes. "No one does" "I said I do" with that she leant forward and kissed me. ~ Lucias is the kind of person no one wants to talk to. He has black hair, covering his cold grey eyes. He reads, he writes and he stays quiet. Following a group of other Emos around is the only way he can survive school. Then Scarlet joined the group. Scarlet Laurence is a quiet girl, with straight pale pink hair, hazel eyes, and pale skin. Lucias senses something weird about her though, and he's going to find out what it is.

This story is about a relationship that builds up between two characters through a window, no matter how hard Nella ( our protagonist, narrator and POV ) tries to ignore this boy that walks past her window at night, she wonders if there's more to him than what meets the eye. TW- eating disorder and loud shouting and Language Info to know before you read this book- •this book is indeed a slow burn book, so if you like books that just get straight into the action I wouldn't recommend this book. •this book does have some triggers, so to young readers or readers who have seen the TW, please don't read this book if you think you may be affected or triggered in anyway shape or form •I will fully openly admit that I am a romantic so Keeping that in mind, this book my be a emotional rollercoaster haha, so if you are emotionally vulnerable or just not ready for a heartbreak ( or not, we don't want to spoil anything haha ) please do not read.
