This novel follows the emotional journey of a successful young Persian man named Rojan Behzadi. He embarks on a trip to Iran to visit family he hasn't seen in over a decade. He thought everything was going well, when soon after his arrival, his father passed away from a stroke. The weight of his death laid heavy on Rojan and his family, and all hope seemed lost until he began to see the ghost of his father. Throughout this novel, Rojan must navigate grief, seeing into afterlife, and reconnecting with his father. From his experiences, he learned patience, resilience, and keeping a kind heart in spite of the cruelty of others.

I am a Persian immigrant, I have been living in Canada for the past three years and this is the story of two youth in love in Iran, my country and how the country effected their love, how their love inspired them and how they coped with the difficulties. This story contains a lot of content related to politics and the state of Iran at the moment. This story is a way for me to channel my pain and despair about the situation through my pen.

But there are problems obstacling this affair. Will she give her pride away to obtain true love? Or will she give true love away to get pride? She doesn't know, and she's going to find out.
