This story starts out as a series of Adventures that Emily begrudgingly takes with her twin brother Elliot. They walk through creeks, catch fish, go to school, play with their toy poodle, all normal things that regular children do... all in an empty, seemingly abandoned town. Where are all the other people? Why are the cottage prestine with all their fine china set out? What's with their daddy's color changing hair? Was he born with powers or did something happen? You'll have to read in order to find out? ;)
